It is our goal to provide you with informative facts, topics and events that are of interest as well as remind you of the ways you can help us make a difference in the lives of caregivers and their loved ones.

Take advantage of this energetic time of year and join us in ensuring no caregiver feels alone, isolated or without adequate financial resources. Our Foundation strives to ease the financial burden of care giving one family at a time. Through your participation and support 2009 is off to an exciting start.  We thank you.

Ch. 6: Financial Abstractions

June writes: "We conducted our financial transactions with cheques. There was little need for cash. I always ensured that Rusty had some money in his wallet but, not much. He'd joke about this to people we met, telling them with a chuckle that his wife never gave him any money. Shortly after the onset of Alzheimer's, Rusty turned the cheque book over to me. It was a gradual thing that I didn't even think much of at the time... but I was grateful the financial reins were transferred in this manner."
